I always use the best materials I can find, especially high-quality papers and paints. My favorite papers are Fabriano and Arches, usually off-white. As for paint, I have many favorites, but I always use the water based varieties. I just can't deal with strong fumes. When it comes to carving, Flexcut is my tool of choice. I love how it fits perfectly in my small hands. The Glass Frog print barren works great for me. It glides smoothly on paper and I don't need to use much pressure. I also have an antique book press that I use for some prints.
